Nikos Photography

Rogue Interactive were tasked with creating a stunning yet easily updateable and manageable system for Nikos Photography, that not only looked good and worked well, but was search engine friendly, delivered a superior level of service to his customers through online wedding photo collections, album viewing and e-commerce for purchasing prints, canvas print, books and DVD’s. An impressive introduction

We created a series of 3D rendered canvas drops which are randomly selected and loaded when visitors visit the web site, giving the initial wow factor that Nikos required, whilst demonstrating the quality of his photography.
 

The Gallery

We created a flash based gallery where visitors can innovatively move around in 3D space via the mouse or keyboard, and view gallery images in a larger format when required.
 

Wedding Pictures and E-Commerce

We created a content management system (CMS) to allow Nikos to add the hundreds of photos for his customers’ weddings, utilising a image / photo flipping system. We also integrated an online shop within this system to give visitors a unique and innovative way of searching through image collections and choosing images for purchase in many different formats. The shop itself is integrated into PayPal for credit card or account payments online.
 

Wedding Albums

The CMS also has a album management system where Nikos can upload images for albums and link them to Wedding Pictures system. We utilised a unique 3D page flipping system which generates a lifelike 3D album with realistic page turning.

The web site has a useful search engine included that allows visitors to search for weddings by name, venue or year. Potential customers can now view Nikos’s portfolio by their intended venue to allow them to better judge how their wedding should or may be portrayed through photographs.
